Canoe Training Troop/Company/Crew

Teach youth/leaders canoeing skills from basic right through to advanced, in a
fun “learn by doing” scenario. At the end of the weekend the youth should be comfortable
paddling on their own, and many will have achieved skills/confidence to safely canoe trip on
their own or in small groups. Strong emphasis on safety and best practices to ensure both safe
and enjoyable tripping practices are learned. Siblings and spouses welcome.

Over one million people have taken the workshop. Most people thinking about suicide don’t actually want to die, but they need help deciding to stay alive. You don’t need any prior training to attend ASIST – just a willingness to make a difference.
