Invitation to 10,000 Trees for the Rouge Annual Spring Planting

Hi All,

Please join 10,000 Trees for the Rouge for our annual tree planting on Sunday April 22, 2018.

Time: 9am to around 4pm – end time varies depending on the turn out, but runs no later than 4pm

Location: The planting site is located near Waldon Pond, east of Kennedy Road, between Highway 7 and Austin Drive. You will find a map on the attached flyer.

Parking: There is no parking onsite, however you may park at Unionville Go train station, and we will have shuttle buses running to and from the planting site. The shuttle buses will begin at 8:45am and end at 4:15pm.

As usual, this event takes place regardless of the weather, so please come prepared.

Items to bring (if you have them):

·        Rain boots / waterproof shoes

·        Rain coat

·        Spade or shovel

·        Bucket

·        Gloves

We would appreciate you distributing this invitation to your membership. Scouting groups have been important contributors to 10,000 Trees for the Rouge planting events over the years, and we appreciate your help and hard work. Let's make the 2018 spring planting a fun one!
