I am happy to announce the appointment of Victor Woodburne as Interim Council Commissioner, White Pine Council effective immediately. Victor started his Scouting life with 10th Whitby Group in White Pine Council in 1998.  He began giving his time and talents in Group Fundraising in 1998.  In 2001 he became the Group Registrar; in 2003, the Group Commissioner and; in 2004, the Deputy Area Commissioner Group Support.  More »
Charitable Tax Receipt Request - Process COSC Process for Managing Cheque/Cash Donations The Canadian Revenue Agency rules require organizations holding a charitable number for the purpose of providing charitable tax receipts must demonstrate that they have received the funds in question at the level at which the receipt is issued (by Council).
