Oct 3-4, 2015, 8:30am - 4:30pm. Optimist Hall, 475 Salisbury Street Oshawa. ASIST is a two-day (15 hour) interactive workshop that teaches how to intervene and save a life from suicide. Over one million people have taken the workshop. Most people thinking about suicide don’t actually want to die, but they need help deciding to stay alive. You don’t need any prior training to attend ASIST – just a willingness to make a difference.

WB I Group Committee/Commissioner Course

Get your game on early by learning the expectations and realities of your position at the group level. Take away a great set of tools to manage and grow your group. Get an orientation on and learn the benefits of using the "Scouter Support Playbook" All training materials have been updated to reflect the recent changes to Scouts Canada’s policies and procedures. This course follows the national Course Training Standards.

Time: 8:30am-5:00pm
